VFS Fees

Hello.

I am a personal representative for someone in the Philippines. She has sent in her Visa application but sent the VFS Fee by PMO (postal money order). VFS phoned her and told her that they don't accept PMO's - they need a bank manager's cheque. She is not able to get a bank manager's cheque because she doesn't have a bank account. She was told by the bank that she has to have a bank account and carry a balance for at least three months before she can get a cheque.

Are there any alternatives of paying the VFS fees?

I'm replying to my own post in case anyone needs the information. VFS does not accept any other payment method other than a bank managers cheque or cash. You can ask someone who has a bank account to get a cheque for you. The cheque will be in the name of the person who has the bank account but the applicant just needs to print their full name on the back of the cheque.
