very confused pls help Qorax.......

Hello Qorax,
After landing on pearson airport the immigration officer have not directed us to custom officer since we were not having any good which comes later. She only asked the total amount and said that our pr card will reach us in 6-8 weeks.
We have not filled the pr card application also.Do we have to fill it now?if yes where we have to send it?
we r very confused becoz she clearly said our pr card will reach us on our provided address in the given time.
Ya we got our sin no but sin card will reach us 15 days time.

Welcome to Canada!

For your 1st PRC u don't need to fill a separate PRC application form. As the BSO@the airport was talking to u & doing something on his/her computer, s/he was fillig-it-up for u. Remember u signed the COPR & another form, that's all that u needed to do.

Relax, your PRCs will come by 40-45 days. I got mine in 43 days. The SIN cards came in 9 days. Open a bank a/c, obtain a Cr. Card (even if it's a Secured one) & take a Cell Phone, as the 1st things to do, in a day or two, after landing.

Meeting us, the efficacy of it, is entirely your personal choice/opinion.
