Hi Bro & Sis,

I'm Canadian citizen sponsoring my spouse, we are both now in our home country HKSAR. I was confused by IMM5491 & IMM3903E. As my understanding IMM5491 Part 1 should fill by myself (sponsor), Part 2 should fill by my spouse (sponsored person). Here is the problem, there is Part 3 IMM3903E Country Specific Instructions should fill by my spouse (sponsored person) again which most of the forms are same as IMM5491 Part 2.
So, should I only go for Part 3 IMM3903E since this form is asking for more details such as medical text, passport pictures, police certificates.......etc.

Hello as a newbie also and done with filling up the forms, my understanding is that IMM5491 is the document checklist of the sponsor(YOU). once your wife submitted all the documents to you, you just need to re-check if the documents needed is complete. On IMM3903 this is document check list of the Sponsored Person (WIFE/HUSBAND) and additional/supplementary form which your wife needs to answer and submit it together with the other documents.
