Finally. Took the oath today. The timeline :

Application Sent: February 20, 2023 (Vancouver office)
AOR: March 3, 2023
In Progress: March 7, 2023
BG: April 11, 2023
Test: May 8, 2023
Test Complete: May 24, 2023 (was manually checked by an officer due to internet disconnect, as per gcms)
Passport Request: June 2, 2023 (sent June 3, 2023)
Long silence.. LPP not started as per gcms (requested 4 times during the waiting time)
Invited for interview: Nov 7, 2023
Interview: Dec 6, 2023
LPP: Dec 6, 2023 (status update 2 days later)
Oath invitation: Dec 12, 2023
Oath: Dec 19, 2023

Anyone here who recently received either a paper or e-cert, able to let me know how long they took? I initially wanted paper but with the holidays I am wondering if e-cert would be best. Though I don't know what the usual delivery time for Vancouver office applicants is for either option. Thanks!

My test was completed in june 20 they recieved my fp request on 5 july. Since then on october i got a update that my language and physical presence are completed but still waiting on background and prohibition. Does anyone else here has a same timeline. Aor on may

Did anyone get the request to submit scanned copies of all the pages of the passport? How long did it take to get an update after sending them?
I already took the test and got the background check done.

Have you received any update? I submitted mine on December 26 and no updates yet.

Hey Orhan - No I did not have an interview of any kind - please see timeline steps in signature. But I had a very long wait between Test complete and LPP complete = 256 days. LPP was Jan 10 2024 - I am now waiting for Oath to turn in process or Oath invite email whichever comes first. Hang in there!
