Would anyone be willing to join me in a small demonstration in front of the IRCC office downtown? This is getting incredibly frustrating.
I would! Depends on the day (weekends would be useless as nobody works there) but I’m in and can join for couple hours. The address is 877 Expo Blvd, that’s the one where they process our applications.

I am honestly in. I do think it would be more effective if we had a dozen people interested. Please reply if you would be willing to join even if for one hour during the next two weeks.

Yes. I can definitely do 2-3 hours and I think best would be from 11:30am onwards as that’s when immigration officers leave in and out for lunch (I assume). I would suggest to hold a banner with application numbers so they can possibly remember them and maybe finally actually take a look at those applications once they go back to the building watching Netflix.

For anyone, preferably from BC, who recently had their oath ceremony, how long was the wait to receive your certificate? The email indicates that it will take up to 4-6 weeks, but earlier this year, people seemed to received theirs in a week or so.

Did mine at the end Jan, so I don’t know if is still relevant, but I got mine 6 days after taking my oath.

Anybody knows anything about this? Or fake news? I hope they are not transferring anything! That would most likely delay our applications once again!

I just had and "passed" my interview this morning. As my application is urgent I should be invited to the next oath, we'll see when that is. Very pleasant immigration officer btw.

Congratulations! I have a random question though, I am always confused by people who have urgent processing. How did you know that they accepted your request for urgent processing? More importantly, why do some people get approved for urgent processing and some do not? I have seem many people posting that they applied and they dont hear a response from IRCC.

Is that question to me? I figured they accepted it because my application was moving pretty quickly and then later they told me they did

I got decision made this morning (that is normal though, the day after interview, not because of urgency)

Hi Guys,

October 2019 applicant here .

I received an email for a fingerprint request yesterday. This is the second time I received one, last one as back in Feb 2020.
Today I received an online citizenship test request :).

Best of luck to everyone.
