you can always change your dates paying with fine which is maximum 150$
If you buy from expedia, they can do it for you without fine.
good luck

You really think that they will sympathize with your Holliday plans or have the time to discuss this? You can only reschedule in case of a life emergency (example: someone has died), other than expect a residency question are or the case to be closed....is it worth it?!!

as an october test taker, on 1 hand u should feel lucky to receive oath notice within 2 months. on the other hand, change of travel plan is costly and painful.
personally i would change date to take the oath, or u can write to CIC for a reschedule. It is your RIGHT to change it, dont worry about questionaire, ur case has been approved, and new oath will be deferred by 2-3 months!
i suggest u write a letter and hand it in person to downtown office.

CIC has the power to decide if your excuse is life threatening or not...unless you are in the hospital or someone has died this is an invitation to play with fire...they have and can easily abandon the application by law....Unless there is a valid excuse for rescheduling its too risky.

only if you miss oath without 1. giving any reasons, 2. without rescheduling

do what u want, write a letter to request reschedule.

I think that reason will qualify for requesting reschedule. Call CIC and talk with them , but ultimately you will need to send them a letter asking them to reschedule.
