I missed the test so I'm waiting to reschedule me :'(

I applied in Oct 2011.....RQed in Nov 2012, passed the citizenship on June 5th 2013....no waiting for oath, hopefully it should come soon

Looks like we are couple months apart with suvgb06...and it is in line.By the way suvgb06 did you get an invitation on ceremony yet???

I'm a Victoria applicant, but close enough. I suspect we are even further behind since they closed the CIC office here in yet another of the Conservatives budget cutting moves

CIC received my application Oct 31 2011 (that's what the letter or acknowledgement said)
Received my letter of acknowledgement and Discover Canada book in late November, early December 2011
Began processing my application Oct 2 2012
Sent me a letter to appear for my citizenship test Sept 25 2013
Received my letter to write my test Oct 2 2013
Will write my test on October 22 2013

Mine was a routine application, no additional information was requested from me, nor did I call or email to inquire about the status of my application, I just checked online every few months.
24 months from application to the test...pathetic. Not that I blame the CIC staff, I'm sure they're doing the best they can, they're just way understaffed.
Even the requirements have changed since I applied I see. I did not have to supply proof of my understanding of English or French when I applied.

Fingerprint request Jul 2013
Fingerprint submitted Oct 2013

My boyfriend did not receive the fingerprint request letter in the mail and is too late when we found out. He just got his fingerprint done digitally Oct 5, 2013 as soon as he received the replacement of the letter. He did not receive RQ luckily but 3 months delay to respond to the fingerprint request. We did moved to different address since he first submitted his application and informed CIC in Sep 2012. Mostly because of Canada Post, or the landlord...
Anyone have similar case that respond to fingerprinting very late? My boyfriend have no criminal record by the way.

That's why you should often call CIC Call Centre to check your status. I had been told about the coming fingerprints request by one of the agents even before I received the letter.
