Validity of passport

I had a query regarding my visa stamping on my pp.
Got PPR on 21 July and in it it's written that pp to be valid for atleast 12 months and my pp getting expired in April 2018.
Do I need to renew my pp or send this old pp for stamping.

Passport should be ideally valid at least for 12 months.

You can write them an email asking, if you can still submit your Passport.

April 2018 looks not so bad. They might agree.

Had sent an email.but got an automated mail from them that the reply would take 5 to 15 working days.Do you have any email addresses where I can contact them. Had sent mail to Abu Dhabi embassy as I am residing in Dubai.

Ohh .. small world. I m from UAE as well.

Did you try contacting the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi via phone? Its a long shot.

Yes the same email id is used.Thats the automated reply I got from them.
Haven't tried via fone.
