Hello
I recently received my PR (COPR and visa stamp) and was planning to do a 1 day trip to Canada through the Niagara area from US. I'm thinking of using the AVR rule to come back to USA.
I have few questions.
1. My h1b is in 7th year (I140 approved) and last h1 stamp expired in 2015 on old passport - Will that cause any issues on AVR entry back to US?
2. Which port of entry is good in the Niagara area - There are 3 (Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, Rainbow International Bridge and Peace Bridge) - Are there any specific timings/days when they do the PR card processing? I plan to cross the border on weekend.
Will appreciate any help on this matter. Please share your experience if anyone recently traveled and used AVR.
