Hey everyone,

We submitted the use of representative form twice. I am the sponsor and representative for my wife's PR application. We received this email from IRCC saying that some section is not filled. Also attaching the form we filled. Are we not filling any required section here? We have signed the 3 areas where it is needed.

I submitted my form 5476 with my signature (sponsor) in section 8, and ONLY my husbands signature (applicant) in section 10. I received AOR.

Have you tried sending it signing by hand instead of just writing the names?
IRCC is fussy about that. Sometimes they won't even accept e-signatures. Print the docs, sign by hand, and scan it.
I believe that's why they are picking on it.

thanks for the suggestion., since my wife is in India and I am here in Canada, would it work if my wife takes the print out of the use of representative form, signs it, scans and sends me the scanned copy which I print, sign, scan and upload or will she need to send the signed copy of the form by post to me?

Did you receive AOR yet?

I would suggest getting hand signatures instead of Esign specifically for this form.

We did receive the AOR.
I understand the suggestion of hand signing.

my question was, will it be okay if one of us prints, signs, scans and emails the form to the other and the other person would print, sign, and scan this emailed document.

or do we need to post each other the physical copy for signing?

Scanned copy works

Yes that is okay, she prints, sign, scan and then sends to you, and you print, sign and then scan (PDF) and send to IRCC.
Just for future reference, you can create an e-signature in Adobe to sign future documents properly instead of typing your name. But as James said, for that specific document I'd sign by hand (same signature in your documents).
My representative made us sign every form by hand even though some of them do say you can sign online. IRCC is picky about that.
