Use of representative for Sponsor

I am sponsoring my wife for the spousal visa and I'm confused as to whether I should fill out the Use of Representative form(5476) and fill the Contact Information in 0008 with my info.

1. Is it necessary that I, the sponsor, fill the Use of representative Form(5476) and the Contact Info in the main Application (0008)
2. Will routing the contact through me delay the process?

1. No, it's not necessary
2. No, it will not lead to delays. I'm also my wife's sponsor and representative. IRCC sends all communication to me, so we only have to check one email account.
