USA visa inquiry

Hi everyone,

I’m currently completing my DS-160 form for a U.S. B1/B2 visa. I used to work in Canada, but my work permit expired and lost my Job, and I’m now a Canadian permanent resident (PR). I’m not currently employed anywhere.

In the section that asks for “Present Work / Education / Training Information,” should I:

• Select “Not Employed” and just mention my previous employer in the description,
  or
• Enter my previous employer’s details as if it’s current employment?

I want to make sure the information is accurate and consistent since my employment ended due to permit expiry.
Has anyone filled this out in a similar situation? How did you handle it?
