us visa draw and pr applocation

hi guys i have applied for my pr and its still in process waiting for response . they have been requesting lot of documents and i find the process long and challenging so im thinking of applying for the us visa draw https://dvprogram.state.gov/ and i was wondering if it would affect my pr application ? the reason why i want try the us visa its just to have a plan b in case if the express entry doesnt go well .

The result for this will come next year till then you will have become a PR. Chill
