Sorry I did not know that!cherti said:This is thru approved channelers , only applicable for US citizens or green card holders. Others have to take the long route.
Yes this is an approved channeler by the FBI (as listed on https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks/list-of-fbi-approved-channelers-for-departmental-order-submissions) and the document arrived on official FBI tamper-proof letterhead paper. As someone pointed out MyFBIReport.com is the same company as National Credit Reporting.CDNPR2014 said:is this one of the CIC approved channelers on the website? if it is, that's great! if not, don't be surprised if the report you get is not considered valid by CIC. even if it "looks the same", CIC has a way of knowing if it's from the FBI directly or from a 3rd party channeler - and they will only allow reports from specific channelers. if this is an approved channeler, then there shouldn't be an issue. if it's not, i'd recommend getting a back up in case the one you have gets rejected from CIC.
that's great! i'm sure this will make the process a bit easier for some.knowledge101 said:Yes this is an approved channeler by the FBI (as listed on https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks/list-of-fbi-approved-channelers-for-departmental-order-submissions) and the document arrived on official FBI tamper-proof letterhead paper. Did you get the report in hand yet ?mets15 said:Hello. My credit card was charged on Aug 17th. My app reached on June 18th.
No not yet. Oh I guess 18th was a Saturday so according to them my report reached them on June 20th. When I called this week, they said it's in the final stages and would be another week at least before it's mailed out. I just need to get it before September 12th for my submission, let's see... Looks like people are starting to have it in hand in under 12 weeks so it might happen.cherti said:Did you get the report in hand yet ?
that's good news. Can you update once you receive the report in hand ? I just want to assess the time taken for the mail to reach Canada via USPS.mets15 said:I called this morning (8/26). They received my application on June 20th, finished processing it on the 24th and mailed it out by regular first class mail this morning. I am in Western Canada, so I expect it will take about 6-7 days to get here.
for sure, will do that! no one seems to be doing that and i've been wondering the same, i have 14 days left so i just pray it comes in time. I believe it should, we are neighbors!cherti said:that's good news. Can you update once you receive the report in hand ? I just want to assess the time taken for the mail to reach Canada via USPS.

It took about 2 weeks after my CC was charged for it to arrive to me in Canada, so you should get it very soon.eaforster said:My application was received on June 6th and CC was charged on August 15th and I still haven't received mine I'm living in Toronto.
That's crazy! It took 4 days for me.eaforster said:Hi,
It took 3 months as expected but I finally received my letter in the mail yesterday! I'm in Toronto, so everyone in the US would probably get it a couple days quicker than I did.
Submitted to FBI: June 6th
Credit Card Charged: August 15th
