Everything I've read screams that this is possible, but as small details can lead to horrible situations, I thought I'd verify this:
1. I have my COPR, things that I can fit in a car to bring (and the paperwork).
2. I'm leaving the car in the US - just selling it.
3. No dependents - just me
4. Family sponsorship - my wife lives in Quebec.
My current plan:
1. Drive to Montreal with the items and paperwork
2. "Land" at the border in New York/Quebec
3. Drop stuff off.. drive back in US, drop off the car
4. Bus back to Montreal
What I need verified: If using BUS, I shouldn't have an issue with using the COPR and my US Passport on the return trip? =)
Thank you so much for calming my nerves, or at least letting me know a grim truth.
