US born child city of birth is State, USA in US Passport

I am filing up my application and come across question regaridng city of birth for dependent.
My child is born in US, holds US Passport and it specificies "California, USA" as place of birth.

Do I specify "California, USA" in my application as per passport or do I mention the actual city of brith? Please help.

Mention the actual city. It is not a big deal. You will be required to attach the birth certificate also, which will contain the city.
