Urgent:Which is safest way to send Passport to CPP-O from India?

Applied under CEC class while I was in Canada and left Canada. Applied in Aug-2012.....

Thanks for u r wishes. did u sent a email to ottawa for requesting to submit the passports in india? if yes then u might have to wait atleast 20 days to get the reply......

let us know once u submit in india..so that atleast hoping to process u r request fast..

How long did it take for CIC to respond back to you. I had requested them for submission in India on Dec 3rd. Still waiting for a response. Have already sent a reminder.

Does anyone knows if there has been any rejection of such requests...or its just a matter of time before they provide confirmation.

Getting really anxious as things would now move slowly.......given the holiday seasons.

I am also in same situation like..I got my ppr and they asked me submit passport to CPP-Ottawa, but right now Iam in India.
After that I sent an e-mail for requesting then I got reply like "You may request to have your application finalized in New Delhi. If this is the case, please advise us at your earliest convenience"

I replied to this one and asking Please give permission to me for submitting my passport at NewDelhi, India. But till now I didn't get any response from them.

They replied to me in a day..but after that I didn't get any reply from cpp-o. I am waiting for cpp-o reply!!!

If they allow to send the passport to New Delhi, then what is the process to be followed?
What all documents are required by VFS? Do they need some forms along with passport for stamping?/
How much time it takes ?

I am assuming that i will be soon under same situation. but wanted to know if you informed them about your change of address after coming back to India.

I travelled back in DEC and havn't informed them yet. How ever i was thinking to use online tool however it says that we can use it only if new address is within canada.

Please suggest.

Hi,

I informed CIC about the address change after I got my Application number. I had sent a mail ( physical mail ) to CHC New Delhi with the supporting documents and after few weeks it was updated in ECAS. I also had the doubt whether we the online link would work for address outside India...so tried this method instead.

I got a reply on Dec 27. The mail only mentioned that I had to submit the passport, 3 photographs and copy of the request letter at any VFS center. It also mentioned that the passport could be sent directly to CHC but that would take longer time to process.
