Hello, anybody knows how long is the processing time for Urgent application. In my case I am asking to reissue the PR card because they didn't process my name change in the first application.. This process suppose to be under Urgent timeline.. Thanks

Urgent processing of a permanent resident card
To qualify for urgent permanent resident (PR) card processing, you must be travelling within the next three months due to:

• a job opportunity
• your own serious illness
• the death of a family member
• work related to your current job
• the serious illness of a family member

Even if you qualify, we can’t guarantee we’ll process your application urgently or that you’ll get your PR card on time. See the current processing times for PR cards.

Thanks for your input but when you asked to reissue your pr card.. in my case.. I received my renewed card (December) but they not process my name change for mistake (all doc were summited) .. for they instructions you have to write Urgent processing in the envelope.. that why I am asking about timeline

when did you submit your "reissue of permanent resident card"

I summited a reissue January 14, on Sunday January 20 I received a notification that my application have been starting to process I checked my ecas and my last name was change, and today I login and said a decision have been make in your application .. they linked everything to my application in October no open a new one. So I supposed wait for my card in the next couple of weeks

FYI PR recieved with my name changed today Jan 28, status a decision made January 20.
