What happen if I have to apply for study permit extension but I'm currently not in good academic standing.
 
In most cases CHC required it. Carefully saying, u should apply it and submit when it require by CHC. It does not effect on ur visa .
 
what is CHC? And can you estimate my chances of getting a study permit extension when I'm in probation (only because of my last semester. My other semesters has been very well so far).
 
CHC is the abbreviation of Canada High commission. If u have admission in any college and university, u can apply for extension letter in case if CHC late to reply about ur study permit request.
 
@heihoang I believe you are already in Canada on study permit and want to extend your study permit.

You do not need to apply at Canadian High Commission (CHC). You send your application to Case Processing Center (CPC) Vegreville AB.

You still have to apply for extension in study permit to avoid becoming illegal in Canada.

You can also apply online as well or complete and print the paper application and send it with documents and processing fee to the Case Processing Center.

You also know that it will affect the outcome of the study permit extension.

You only want somebody to say "no it will not affect your application for study permit extension".
