I need some help regarding study permit. I study in Vancouver and my student permit is expired already...so I can't leave the country. I sent in the application to CIC but they sent it back and asked for missing information so I did what they asked for and sent the application again by registered mail in Sep 2012. The tracking said it is delivered to CIC already. However, I still haven't received any confirmation until now. Its almost half a year already. I called the Call Centre and they seem to locate my package but told me to call back to the processing dept in 2 weeks.
Is there something wrong? Does it usually take this long???????? I am very confused with their process. Can someone give me some ideas?
