Urgent Request for Interview in Cairo Visa Office

I received this email from the Cairo Visa Office 2 weeks ago regarding my permanent residence application.. my husband is trying to sponsor me..

URGENT: INTERVIEW: MRS. xx xx xx - Fxxxxxx (SG) (OTTAWA)

Dear Madam,

Kindly note that you are required to attend an interview at the Canadian embassy in Cairo on Tuesday, March xth, 2012 at 1:00 PM. The embassy is located at 6 Mohamed Fahmy El Sayed St., Garden City, Cairo, Egypt.

Please be advised that you are required to bring along your original passport for identification purposes.

Kindly note that you must confirm your attendence by a return email and advise whether an interpreter will be required or you can communicate in English during the interview.

I would like very much if someone could tell me the following:
- what kind of questions am I expecting in the interview? how long is it?
- what does this tell me about the status of my application?

Below is the status of my application as per CIC, yet I am not inferring where we stand..

- We received your application for permanent residence on September xx, 2011.
- Medical results have been received.
- Interview scheduled for March x, 2012.
