Hi everyone, I just went to my school to apply for the completion letter (I received the email yesterday that I can do that now). I am a grad student and submitted my final thesis on October 16.
I was told today that the letter would state October 16... The problem is that I continued working until yesterday (I now stopped because my official final documents are ready).
I am very confused by this. Did I do anything wrong? I checked my transcript after I submitted my thesis and it didn't state "degree completed." I thought that once I receive the letter of completion or are being made aware of that it is done, I have to stop working. Not before..
Thank you for all your input (I already reached out to my faculty to see whether they can change the date but not sure whether that will happen).
