urgent Processing of a PR Card application

Hello all,

I have heard and know that the average processing time for a PR card is about 6 - 8 weeks. But I also came across the following link in the CIC website which offers urgent processing subject to a few conditions being met.

Has anyone tried this service?

yes itried to find out much on this issue. I needed as well. those who have applied PR CARD FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS OPTION IS NOT FOR THEM ACCORDING T MY UNDERSTANDING.

I've used it. It's very "hit or miss".

I travelled & returned before CIC even acknowledged the "urgent" request. I picked up my card a couple of days later.

And as the OP says, I don't think it's available for one's first card.
