nobody is 'pissy' about anything, just found it funny that you believed your situation can justify 'urgent' processing.
Someone I know also requested urgent processing since she had an internship in Europe and needed passport for work visa - sounds just like your story - and got denied
do you know if cic sent her a letter denying urgent processing? or she figured it out when her application didn't move faster than others?

haha, I have a great job and I am enjoying my tea break at my job at the moment, that's why I can come in and see whatever nonsensical excuses people are making up to get ahead of others and laugh about it -- and don't get my wrong, I don't 'worry' about your business at all, it is not worth my energy, I just comment on it like you asked for
what do you do for living?

Nice! Good job mate. Happy for you :) What an exciting life :D
@Pretoria are you from Australian or from UK? you keep saying mate.
Hi everyone just and update to my wife Urgent processing.
E-Cas showing IP Nov 29, 2 days after AOR is anybody knows maybe this is a sign that her Urgent processing has been approved?
Time line:
Application received by Sydney Nov 8
AOR Nov 27
IP Nov 29
I think this is good indication that her application was approved for urgent processing. if it is routine application she will be called to take the test very soon

Thank you @AlexiCanada, read from October forum that big number of October guys are in back log and will clear up until February or March but really hope is just speculation.
Also lot of guys from the old rules claiming have FP request after test, anyway let's cross fingers hopefully things will move for everybody next week

I'm just wondering if anyone ever got urgent processing approved? If so, how much shorter was the processing time?

What reason did you give for urgent processing?

Doesn't seem like your urgent processing got approved if it took almost 2 months for you to get AOR.

nope, AOR is just a matter of opening an envelope and putting you in the system, which took more time for hundreds of folks of the 16th of october. Only once they have actively open the envelope, they can review the documents and assess if they are missing something and in the case of urgent processing, if you fit the urgent request.
Approving a request has nothing to do with AOR at all as they cannot know if they will approve your demand or not until they actually open the envelope.

You might in fact have a point. Unless, the envelope itself is marked urgent.
