Hey all,

I found some help on this forum for translation of Passport stamps (atio.on.ca) so wanted to give something back.

I applied for my PR Card and it has been processed and is in the mail. Timelines:

Sent Expresspost from Ontario June 8th.

* We received your application for a permanent resident card on June 11, 2015.
* We started processing your application on June 15, 2015.
* Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on June 15, 2015. Your Permanent resident card will be mailed to you or if quality assurance is required, made available for you to pick up at a CIC office.
* Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on June 17, 2015.

The website status is always a little behind. Today is the 19th and only this morning did the status change from In Progress to Complete. The June 17th notification did not appear yesterday (18th), only today. Hasn't arrived yet but I suspect it will be Monday or Tuesday. I'm happy enough that it is en route.

I made my list and checked it twice!

I went by their list, but from memory:
* application and supplemental ID form.
* copy of receipt of payment for PR fees
* clear copies of all passport pages
* translation of foreign stamps
* copy IMM1000
* copy of Driver Lic
* copy of previous PR card
* copy of five years tax returns
* photos
* copy of airline ticket and extract of VISA statement showing the billed line item.

Lots of paper but clearly they had everything they needed to make a decision.
