1. I will like to know if FBI and Police certicate is the same as Background check in ontario?

2. Have anyone done background check in Ontario, i will like to know how many days it day to get it....probably how much it cost and where to get one done.

A Canadian Police Certificate is only needed if they request it. If they request it and you are currently living in Ontario you can get digital prints done at Commisionaries and it will be completed in roughly 72hrs.

Ok, but exactly do i need to get....is it finger print or Police clearance...im confused

In order to get a police clearance for Canada finger prints are required. So you'll be doing both.

It depends on where you are from, so you need to check the instructions in both the Canada guide and the guide from your region. I think I got 12 or 14 made to cover the photos needed for the medical exam (maybe 5 at my place, but it varies depending on where you go) and the immigration application process.

I got 12, I think. You'll need to call and see how many you need for the medical exam. This depends on where you will be doing it; I think I needed 5 total. Then Buffalo requests 4 photos. Here is the link for the region specific guides (the USA guide is on this list and you click to download it):

And then there are several more that need to be sent with the passport to get the permanent residence. I think if I were getting photos again I would maybe go ahead and get 14, just to be sure. But I think I am probably okay with 12. We'll see....
