My Sponsorship application has received a request letter that need me to provide some additional documents on September 28, 2021, and the deadline was October 05, 2021. I did manage to got all the documents and forms ready, and uploaded on October 5th, in IRCC account, BUT I DID NOT CLICK SUBMIT! and I also uploaded through webform as well just in case. And I thought it was done.

until today on January 12, 2022, I login to my IRCC account to see if there is any update for the application, I realized that the documents that was required 3 months ago DID NOT SUBMIT (Only uploaded but did not click submit)! and then I was in panic and click submit right away, after I done so, I realize that those documents were dated and signed 3 months ago, which is not up to date. and also in the request letter indicated that failure to submit the additional document before deadline might result to refusal of the application. I am very worried now.

has anyone has similar experience? What should I do now?

something about my application:

Submitted and received by IRCC on April 2020;
Completed medical exam and biometric on January 2021;
Been notice that our application is transferred to Local office for further assessment on May 2021;
Received a request letter (to fill out some form and update documents, also explain some confusion information) on September 28, 2021;
Uploaded documents BUT DID NOT SUBMIT (didnt read the instruction carefully, my huge mistake) on October 5, 2021;
Found out that I didnt submit the required documents, and clicked submit and being panic now :( on January 12, 2022.

Submit a webform explaining this error and let IRCC know you have now clicked the submit button and uploaded the documents. Not sure there's more you can do other than that.

Thank you, I did went to webform and wrote a long explanation regarding about this error that I made, is webform the only way to get contact with the office that is processing my application? Not sure how this thing works.

Yes, that's really the only way.

IRCC does have a contact centre / help desk but this only connects you to a random support person, not the officer who is processing your application.

Webform is best.

Would the message go direct to the officer(s) who processing my case, or it would just fry to the local office and wait for answer? Also I tried webform before, no one ever reply anything back to me lol.
