Urgent! Is refugees brother eligible to get work permit based on his wife student status..?

Hi everyone,
please help me out from this problem.
I’m a refugee and my application is still pending and my brother want to apply for visa based on his wife. She is a student in canada. Does my status create a problem for him.

It's possible it might create a problem. But also possible his SOWP may be approved. He should certainly try applying. I would recommend he spend some time reading through the SOWP discussions in the Foreign Workers and International Students section of the forum to see tips on putting together a strong application.

He can. But there is no harm applying for the SOWP. He might as well try. If the SOWP ends up being refused, then his wife can include him when she applies for PR and they will get PR together.
