It depends, did you move to India then move back to Canada? If you live in Canada then went to India on holiday then theoretically you live in Canada. However, if you are here on a visitor's visa and not on a working holiday, you live in your homeland because you were in Canada visiting.

If you are a PR or a Canadian citizen, and your usual place of residence is in Canada, and you just went to India for a holiday, then use the 2007 date. If you got rid of your Canadian apartment, went to India with the intention of living there, but then came back early, put the more recent date. In either case you can attach a letter explaining the situation if you are worried about what the visa officer will think.

I came here on student visa and last year I got PR. I went to India for marriage after I got PR. I changed 3 apartments till now before I left for india. Now I am living in same apartment from july.

in questions 11 there asking the current location when applying for sponsorship.Just state the date when you first arrived to Canada. ;D

Yeah, I'd say you should put the date in 2007. Just a couple of months out of the country is just a vacation, so you don't have to count it.
