as u guys can see in my signiture, i found myself in the lineup for an interivew in beijing today :( this is too bad. i heard i can order a copy of that notes for myself to see why im picked for the interview. i saw alot of agent ads on this on the internet but would like to save a few bucks and privacy by doing this myself. my questiones are
1. should i write myself a consent letter? like i permit myself to view these record....
2. access to info act, and privacy act. which one should i choose? and what next?
3. caips, and overseas visa file. which one should i choose ?

thank you for your replies in advance, guys.

1. no, it will not affect your pr application in any way
2. it can take up to a month to receive them

1. As you are not in Canada (and I assume not a citizen) you can't apply for CAIPS on your own. You have to authorize a person in Canada or go through one of the commercial companies.
2. It would be privacy.
3. CAIPS, you don't want the whole file as that would really slow down as the file has to be copied and then vetted for 3rd party information.

!. Then you want the CAIPS notes as is, don't request the file, it contains basically things that you have submitted and takes quite a while to receive.
