Hi guys ,

My questions is , I applied under CEC last year September and received AOR , my noc code is 1215 but I applied on minimum wage $12 , as per hrsdc website in GTA area minimum wage is $12 and I work in Toronto . So that gonna raise any problem because of my minimum wage as per noc code or job title

It's been more than 8 months since file received and nothing yet from cic . Only 1 year of work permit is left now , so in any case if any thing goes wrong because of wage , what should I do ...?

I am looking forward to hear from you guys and I will appriciate your help .

Thank in advance ....

Hi ,

I suggest that you should order the GCMS notes to see the comment from the officer. Let see what other seniors member say.

Good luck! :)

Hi,

According to the old rule in 2014 they didn't mentioned anything about the wages. From my understand the requirement is only

Minimum requirements
You must:
•have at least 12 months of full-time (or an equal amount in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in the three years before you apply,
•have gained your experience in Canada with the proper authorization,
•meet the required language levels needed for your job for each language ability (speaking, reading, writing and listening),
•plan to live outside the province of Quebec.

Self-employment and work experience gained while you were a full-time student (for example, on a co-op work term) does not count under this program.

Note: The province of Quebec does not use Express Entry. They select their own skilled workers. See Quebec-selected skilled workers to find out more.

As long as your NOC code match with your job description I think the officer should be satisfy. I have to wait for a year before they requested my MR as well.

Have a great day.

Wage MAY be a problem, but not because it's an official rule.

Jobs have certain certain salary levels. If you claim to have a position that doesn't match the salary you're getting it is likely to trigger 2nd review and/or extra verification of your claims.
So if the work you're actually doing falls firmly under NOC code you've put in your PR application then it will be fine. If on the other hand it's a weak, partial match a salary that is too low for the position may result in a negative decision - CIC could decide you don't actually fall under that NOC.

First thing you should apply gcms notes. As long your wages fall under minimum criteria. you should be ok.
