Here's my situation, I called the CIC last September 14 for my work permit and the agent told me that I have now a work permit and they already mailed my work permit last august 27. I told them that i haven't received anything. So they told me to call them back on October 8 if I still haven't receive my work permit so that they will reprint my work permit and mail it again. The agent also told me that I have the right to work now since I have now an approved work permit though I haven't received it yet. My question now is that, is it really fine if I work now though I have not received my work permit but confirmed already that I have an approved work permit? Why does it take so long to call them back just to reprint my work permit and then mail it to me again? I just really need to work because its been a long time that I'm out of work. What to do now? Please anybody help.
