Actually i arrived to Canada 2 months ago with a PRTD of type R-1, and i'm the only one accepted in my family since i was a minor when i left Canada(i don't meet the RO). So i want to know if i have to apply for a PR card or not? because when i go to the service Canada for a social security they asked about my PR card and when i go to apply for a BCID(British columbia indentification card) they also asked for a PR card. so i want to know if i'm not able to apply for a PR card now until i meet the RO which is staying here in Canada 730, but how can i have the government benefits and cards and all these issues in these 730 days?
Note: That i have the Landed paper but they are not accepting it because it is issued after 2002.
