Hello,
I am a canadian citizen living outside Canada. I had applied to sponsor my wife, who is living with me outside canada as well. The sponsorship was approved and am currently in second stage of the process. I had a couple of queries regarding the GCMS notes, and was wondering if anyone could clarify the confusion.
1). Can I apply for GCMS notes from outside Canada through email on behalf of my wife's immigration process status. I read on posts here that the applying person has to be IN Canada. But on the form it says:
To be eligible, you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently present in Canada
Does that mean even if I am not in Canada but am a Canadian citizen, I can apply on her behalf?
2). On the form IMM5563E, Section 'C', which option do I select?
Electronic files: Immigration File: permanent residence OR Physical file: Immigration file: Permanent Residence OR
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
