Urgent Help Needed, Is it safe to leave county whileSWOP in processing???

Hi,
My Visa expired on nov 30th 2018, Im on implied status, I applied for SOWP extension on Feb 15th, now extension is in process. Im planning to leave county and come back once its approved. Is it safe to leave?? Few peoples said once I leave country, immigration knows it and they don't consider application much. Is it true??

Yes you can leave but you lose implied status so you will have to wait until approved to return. No difference in your application if you leave.
