Hi,

My application has been returned saying that "You have not provided 12 months of full-time (or equal amount in part-time) skilled work experience on the Schedule 8". I am confused as I worked for more than 30 hours in every week and my total hours were more than 1920 in 12 months. Could anyone please tell me why they still returned my application?

Thanks

when did you file? did you receive your aor?

it sounds like, since they referred to schedule 8 that you didn't fill in a form correctly?

Also provide what experience u mention in reference letter mention period.

You will have to revisit the Schedule-8 form to see if you have provided details substantiating 12 months of experience.

I had submitted my application on Nov 13. I have filled form and they have checked it.

ok so you received it back without aor which means your application is incomplete.
check schedule 8 fully to make sure that everything is in there correctly - that you've written the correct dates.
also check all the other forms to make sure that everything is filled out correctly.

Also in generic application form, Ques 4. Immigration Office requested for processing this application, I had answered CPP-O, they have corrected it with CPR.

that wouldn't be cause for application return - they correct many Immigration Offices. Strange though that they changed it to CPR

Do you think I should provide more Pay stub when i file the application again?

we really dont know how cec is working after change in recent rules. They are suppose to be more strict on pre screening. We can help if u can give some details like
Questions for you:
1.Did you provided (t4,NOA and reference letter showing ur year exp with ur duties)
2.Can u tell us format of ur reference letter, remove company name and other personal details
3.When they received ur application

It could be that:

- the experience was not "skilled" according to the NOC levels 0, A, and B
- the experience was not gained over at least 52 weeks
- you counted more than 30 hours toward some weeks, and the total would not have reached 1,560 hours (52 x 30) without doing this
- you claimed experience gained more than three years prior to when the application was received
- etc

But, it good to see they are doing some major work of screening before only...If they would have done it with my last application it would have saved me 10 month waiting time...mine was rejected becoz i was 10 day short from one year exp

Dear Gladaki
Just wanted to know, were you 10days short, by taking into account "the date application was received" or "the date the employer signed the reference letter"

They counted my experience from the date of convocation :).....I updated the reference letter later.....but even after updating i was 10 day short from date of recieving..they wont consider any exp after receiving date..some how i have a feeling that processing time will reduce in coming days

Hello Gladaki, just a follow up question, when calculating work Exp does CIC count till app was filed by the applicant or till the date on company ref letter was dated.
