Please help ...

I got email from CIC stating that my application is rejected because my marriage certificate is not valid. I submitted notarised translated certificate through my application.

They haven't raise any query/concern about that before, with that certificate attached I received acceptance from OINP and 600 points added to my account. I received ITA and I submitted my file on 18th December, 2016. Till then I haven't received anything and today I got email stating that my application is rejected.

Please help its urgent, my work permit is going to expire in June, 2017

Please help what should be my next step.

You can try appealing this decision if you think you provided a valid marriage certificate.

@DelPiero07: Thank You...I already did this. And yeah my marriage certificate is valid, i have been marrid for 7 years. My certificate was not in English, it was in my native language. So I translated it to English and that too notarised. My only concern is if they have any question about it they could have called me. I have original one with me , moreover why they haven't raise any query before.?

Hope you have submitted the original along with the translation.

Original one was in my native language, so I submitted the translated one. My friend did the same and his file is approved.

You have to provide the original as well.

Please read point 14 of the following thread

You will always have to submit the original one along with the certified translation.

Indeed, rejection was expected.

Your friend simply got lucky.

that's your big mistake you have to submit the original with notarized copy and it also depends on officer. you should take advice from imm lawyer and try to convince the officer.

@sanpatel30: Is there any other way now..?? Can I recreate my profile ?

Yes. Create a new ee profile, wait for an ITA and submit again with the original copy.

@kryt0n: Thank You..

Hello Seniors,

I have recreated my EE profile as my previous application was rejected because of such stupid reason. My EE score is 466 right now. Is there any chance to receive ITA ?

And does it make any difference as my application was rejected before.?? I am so worried, please help. I opened a case enquiry as case officer didn't ask me to provide any additional document related to my marriage and he just rejected application saying that I haven't provided it while in fact I provided certified notarised copy.

Please provide your input on this.

Regards.

Last draw's cutoff score was 434 so yes, you'll get your ITA soon.
