Hello Fellow members,
I wish to apply for Immigration into Canada through Express Entry and I have been reading the gov website for some time. However, going through it and all the different posts have left me bewildered. I want to sort this straight and seek your precious guidance for some of the queries below.
The queries are very basic and some of them may be foolish as well but please bear with me
1. What are the starting steps to apply for Express entry? I have my IELTS General exam in Jan'15. I understand that the score is mandatory for create an EE profile. Is there something in parallel which I can progress with. I am an Engineer by profession and will be applying under skilled labour (I do not have a job offer/sponsorship at this point)
2. To assess the eligibility, I tried checking the online calculators but the two different eligibility points has left me confused. There is one CRS score with a maximum of 1200 points and the other which I actually used is 68 points. Although I am making more than 68 points, is that the correct score I should compare myself against? What's the difference between these two point system and which one relates to my status? Or they both relevant ???
3. Last question for now, after applying for EE once I get the IELTS score, will I be able to update the profile with updated score If I decide to take the test again for doing better?
Thank you very much Guys for your patience to read through this long post. I appreciate any support I get from here.
Regards,
