Attention - Kadeet / Sriram06 / Ausdreams -

I wanted to check on what final resolution did you get for the duplicate FBI rejection of fingerprints?
We are in a very similar situation. All aspects of my PR application are complete except for the FBI clearance of my wife.

Any advice / tips - please respond, thanks

I think you should send out the PR application without your wife's FBI clearance. Write a letter stating that your wife's FBI fingerprinting is getting rejected due to the condition of her hand/a medical reason. You can also attach a State police clearance certificate ( if you are in US) to bolster your case.

Hello everyone,

My FBI fingerprint card was rejected. anybody here who experienced the same situation?

is my understanding correct that I do not have to send another $18 processing fee? here's what was written in the report:

"Your fee has been processed and will be waived upon resubmission of your new fingerprint card, your returned prints and this form."
yes this time you do not need to send $18, I have faced same situation.

Hi stlguy,

I am confuse because from what i understood, the $18 will be waived for the first reprint. I am planning to have 2 fingerprint cards to re-submit to make sure. does it mean that i need to send $18 for the 2nd fingerprint card on my resubmission?

thanks,
hmmmmm, my finger print was rejected (more than once)...
in one of the attempt, I sent 4 finger print card + 4 forms for payment of $18; and requested to process all.
But they processed only one & charged only once.

You can send up to five fingerprint cards for in one request ($18 is per request). They will pick the best one to process and then send you one report. One request = one report.

Hi Sri,

You can go to Culver City Police Department, Culver City. They charge $16 usually. But tell them you have done your finger printing last time from here, and it was rejected. Take those docs with you and they will do it again for free.

Hello Folks,

I am in very very queer situation and at my wits end.

I am an applicant from USA and here to get police clerance one has to

send their finger prints to FBI ( federal burea of investugation )

Now I had send mine and my wifes ( I am the primary applicant and she is the joint applicant ) to the FBI with our finger prints.

Mine just came fine back, but my wifes had an issue. She has the queer
medical problem named "hyperhidrosis" from child good. It means that

her palms get sweaty the moment she starts some activity. It is

hereditary and it is very tough on her and comes especially when she is

self consious "Like I have to get the finger prints right!"

feeling...There is no definite cure for this.

Now after we send the first prints, taken at the local police station,

they were rejected for her. Then we went to a far place where they

captured her finger prints digitally and then printed them on the pre

defined FBI finger print card and then we send it. We were very

hopeful, and the digital finger print technician also told that the

prints looks much better ( plus forgot to mention she has her some

ridges of her finger's not that clear ) from the last time but alas

today we got a reject on that as well from the FBI stating she has low

characters in her finger.

I am clueless on what to do ? Any help/suggestions ?

I mean if we go to a doctor and get a certificate from the doctor that

she has this mendical condition then would a Name Check be enough from

the FBI ? I am not sure if the FBI would accept this. But more than that
Would the canadian immigration accept this or would they insist on getting a finger

print clerance from FBI ? Would it be end of road for us for PR due to

this ? :-(

Any body in similar situation or know something please guide. What is

so painful is that it is not her fault and she never had even a

speeding ticket in her life !

Any help/suggestions would be really really appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

I know this is a old thread. I was interested in knowing what happened in your case. How did you resolve ? We are in a similar situation now with less than a month to go before submission.

thanks for your time!
