The name of parents on the back of PA's Passport is written together. So in the form IMM 5669 Given name should I enter the name and enter "NA" in the Family name. ??

Quick Help will be really appreciated

No, you should not write NA in the family name field unless the PA has no family name. .
What is the PA's last name on documentation? (Or first if the culture puts family name first). Put that name in the family name field, even if it's a hyphenated last name like Smith-Jones.

If it's an Hispanic name, with the paternal and maternal surnames, you can probably suffice with just the paternal surname.

I am not asking about PA I am asking about the parents of PA for eg her father name. As at the back of her passpor ther father name is writen as kuldip singh now this doesnt have surname

Hey,
Just write the given name which is kuldip singh in given name and put NA in family name. Similar situation with us. This is just information regarding them. If say you were sponsoring her parents for a tourist visa or supervisa and they still did't have a surname( family name)then you would write their given name in the surname section for that application.

Well, if it's a spousal sponsorship and you are just entering details of PA, then just put the legal name of her father and mother (as it's in THEIR passport or any other official document)
I do not believe it has to match what is in the back of PA's passport as a lot of people DO NOT have parents names in their passport.
It's more important to have her parents names correct as in their passport and in her birth certificate as one day she may want to sponsor them.

Hey,
The thing with most Indian names is that they usually have a given name and no family name mentioned. It is the norm for this culture. This creates a problem when you fill out applications. In their passport they will have their given name mentioned but blank for family name. When you sponsor a person that is when this causes confusion. It is mentioned in the guide that if their is no surname for the applicant mention the given name under family name and leave the given name feild blank. The poster is asking about the parents information. It works both ways. We've had applications where the family name was left NA and given name mentioned in given name as well as given name mentioned in family name and given name left blank. Worked both ways.
If his wife were sponsoring her parents, they become the applicants and given name is mentioned as family name. Sounds confusing, but it is very common.

That is interesting. Doesn't that cause a lot of issues in regards to identification, especially if you have a common given name?
