URGENT - CLARIFICATION FOR BOWP/ IMM5710E

Hi,

Need advice for a friend who is in a tricky situation. She applied for Express Entry and received her AOR today and will be applying for the BOWP today itself. Her work permit is also expiring today. On the form IMM5710E, in the current country of residence, when she fills the date until today, it gives an error and states that the date should be greater than today's date. How to proceed on that part? If she fills tomorrow's date it will be wrong as per work permit. Senior's please advice what can be done?

I think you have you options.
First of all, you have 90 days of restoration period.

Option 1: Wait until tomorrow and call CIC for clarification.

Option 2: Fill with tomorrows date and add an explaination letter for the error.
