Urgent ! BWOP refused, What should I do next ?

Hi everyone,

I have two questions:
1. My BOWP was refused because I asked for the extension on my PGWP instead of BOWP.
What should I do next? I quite the job and not been able to find the employer to apply for another work permit.

2. Is this refusal affect my PR application?
I have applied under PNP and my application passed the Eligibility criteria.

Given below is the timeline of immigration-related events:
AOR for PR application received on 20 Oct 2016
My PGWP expired on 03 Sep 2017
My BWOP was refused on 13 Oct 2017

Please, help I have 30 more days left in the 90 days restoration period.

If your refusal is due to wrong application, not because you are not eligible, you can apply to change status to visitor and explain the situation to IRCC, and also start process of applying BOWP properly. whether they gives you the extension is at their discretion and if they don't, you have to leave Canada by end of restoration period

OP is not eligible for BOWP anymore because he needed to have a work permit that would expire in 4 months and since his PGWP is already expired therefore he is not eligible.

Yeah, I confirmed with CIC. They clearly mentioned that I cannot apply for the BWOP.
