Urgent, BOWP refused

Just got the bridging open work permit refused today while waiting for the PR approval. Anyone has a similar situation?

Any particular reason why was refused ?

Just said did not fulfill certain regulation. I sent them the PNP supporting letter and work permit extension forms, almost everything

Pretty sure your PNP program has a restriction on employment and you don't qualify for a BOWP for that reason. You have to remain with your employer until you are actually approved for PR. You can't switch employers during the PR process.

Your BOWP was refused because you did not have a AOR for your PR application.. Are you doing a paper based PR application or Express entry.. .. You need to apply for a closed work permit if you do not have a AOR for your PR file.

One of the requirements for a BOWP is a AOR for your PR file whether that is paper based or express.

Is there a file number from IRCC on the AOR so that they can approve the BWOP?

sent the restoration for closed work permit a while ago. If I get another job offer under LMIA in the same province, can I ask the PNP office for permission on job change and work with the employer concerned under a new closed work permit?
