Hi,

Please help me as I am in a trouble.
My workpermit was expiring on 8th December 2020 and I applied extension around 8 pm before midnight.

I got payement receipt confirming that I have applied at 8 pm on 8th Dec .
But on confirmation letter on top.there is 8th december date and in the letter it is showing that application has been received by 9 december that too before midnight.

I am confused that whether I am on implied status or i missed the deadline.

You need to confirm with IRCC but if at the moment it doesn't sound like you have implied status.

I really hope it will be considered the 8th and not the 9th, I applied yesterday at about 11 am and my letter says the 8th

They also send a letter today confirming the receipt of the application and a proposed date of completion of the application, not sure if it's automatic but watch out if you get one.

I applied around 8 pm .due to some technical issue I was not able to apply earlier.
I had receipt of confirmation on 8th dec 8:13 PM plus submission of confirmation

Nowhere it is mentioned that a person is on implied status only if its application is received before permit expires.
According to CIC ,
Implied status means applying before permit expires.
Please correct if I am wrong

Have you got another letter from Cic 'with a confirmation date included

I spoke with CIC agent today.
They ask to send webform explaining that I applied before expiry with proofs like receipt ,submission confirmation ,email etc.
I already send it.
