Is it necessary for Sponsor to update their address with IRCC when they change address (within the same city) while spouse sponsorship application is in process?
If yes, then what is the right way to do it?
When I go to the IRCC webform and select ''update contact info '', it appears to be requesting the applicant’s (principal applicant's) information. Since I am the sponsor and also the designated representative for my spouse, should I enter my UCI instead of the applicant’s? Or should I choose the “Check your application status” option and use the text box to explain that I am updating the sponsor’s address? I’d really appreciate anyone’s guidance on how to do this correctly. Thank you so much.
