This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada at our office. Before your file can be further processed, our office requires the following:

- Updated Imm 0008 form and an updated Schedule 1. Please see attached forms.
- Waiver of your rights to sponsor your daughter xoxoxoxo xoxo in the future.

Please note that you have 10 days from the date of this letter to present the documents requested. Upon receipt of the above, we will continue the processing of the application. Should you fail to respond within the time frames stipulated, the application will be assessed on the evidence available on file. This may result in the refusal of the application.

WHY ONLY 10 DAYS ? How do i send the information requested ? fax ? email ? mail ? The office is in mexico city.

Updated IMM0008 is usually required when the processing of your application is about to be finalised. It is to record recent changes in your personnal circumstances if the processing has been going on for some time. If you did not provide details of your daughter and if she is not medically examined ,then you will not be able to sponsor her in the future (That's why they requesting you to waive that right)
By DHL or UPS your docs could be delivered in New Mexico within 10 days (bear in mind 10 working days is actually 2 weeks including saturday and sunday) That enough time as parcels move every day including week ends.

You still include your daughter on the forms as before. They are looking for changes in your work/address/personal history and if you have had more children since you first submitted.

Send it by fax AND courier. Normally I would just say courier but with the Christmas holidays upon us, many couriers are not working everyday. Get the originals there as soon as you possibly can.

@Mikeyv
You have to put her on the forms even if you are not taking her to Canada.Signing the waiver forms means she will not be medically examined and it will not delay your case.Nothing will be required from her other than the name on the forms

what are those waivers?????? is it a personal letter ? or.............? after i sent this information , whats next ?

Waiver means giving up a requirement or a right (in this case your right to sponsor your daughter in the future if she wanted to get PR for Canada)
Even if your ex wife has full custody ,when your daughter reaches 18 years of age ,she could live in the country of her choice ,that includes Canada .if you are a PR you could still sponsor her at that stage ,that's the right you are giving up by signing that waiver

but is it a form , or what is it ? when i went to interview ,immigration officer said she was not happy with the letter i gave her , so im confused , is it a letter i have to write stating i know i would not be able to sponsor my daughter in the future , or is one of the forms that they sent me , by signing it , im waiving the right to sponsor her ?

If the VO officer can't provide you with a form or if there is no pre established form . I think you can make a sworn affidavit ( a letter signed before a commissioner of oaths)
That's my opinion may be somebody else could have another input, but time is not on your side (10 days !)

do i need to include new photos for the forms ?

May be you can do that to save time yes ,usually they ask for it . In my case they requested my daughter's photos as they were not submitted with the initial application. In my situation my daughter will be medically examined even tough she is an adult and not living with me.
I have read on this forum that when immediate family members do not take the medical exams, the file processing take longer just in case you change your mind before processing is finalised
