Just read the letter from the interviewer today, and she said she is denying my wife entry(who is from Dominican Republic. So much for staying positive.smh
She had her interview 2 weeks ago.
Where do I go from here? Can I appeal this? Do I have to re-apply again?
I’m feeling really down and depressed about this. After all the work and sacrifice I put into these papers,it came down to this.

What was the reason?

you need to assess the reason and possibly determine how to address the reason for the denial.......in the letter from IRCC what was the reason for the denial ?

Sorry to hear that. In gods perfect time...
Did she got medical?
Is it outland?

Also if your appeal is denied, you can’t sponsor your spouse ever again,so it’s risky.

This isn't true at all. You can certainly sponsor again even with a denied appeal.

How long have you been together? How many visits have you had since the first one when you married?

The reasons were she answered too vaguely and it didn’t seem sure of some of the questions.
The biggest one was why we got married the first time we met, which was probably are biggest mistake.
Oh man. Id say just apply again. Make sure you have stronger proof and ensure she is better prepared for the interview. Dont appeal. Reapplying is faster

Dont appeal and dont reapply is youre going to send the same stuff again. They will refuse your app again. Think if you can explain your relationship better (how long do you know each other? how many times did you visit? do you talk on the phone/internet? did you meet the family?). Truth is that if you got married the first time you met, and there are no other proofs (money transactions, big wedding, visits, pictures, etc) Its a huge red flag. If you cant provide new info you might have to give it some time, build your relationship, visit spend time together get to know each other before reapplying again. Sad but true.
