I need help with University Transcripts. I am towards the end of finalizing my paperwork for Skilled Worker application but am confused with the University Transcripts.

I sent my marksheet and certificate to Univ. of Pune, India along with photocopies for them to certify. I was planning to use the services of World Education Services (WES) to get a official equivalency. Is this required or the Univ Transcript in sealed envelops would do? Please help urgently. WES charges $100 for issuing the certificate; in that case I would save this money.

Thanks,
Irfan

I believe you do not need official equivalency unless they explicitly ask for it which is not the case. You should provide diploma, transcripts, certificate and maybe marksheets, additionally you should provide certified translation if not in english...

hope this help

Thanks ingegarcia,

I'm assuming that all documents should be photocopies and not originals, right?

Thanks, much appreciated.

Irfan

Irfan,

I assume you are from India. Transcripts from India also need to be in sealed envelopes. For eg, University of Madras puts copies of transcripts in sealed envelopes and signs and seals across on the outside of the envelopes. You may try that with Univ of Pune.

Hi path009,

Did you get your ECA done with documents attested by attesting officer at MU? I am also in a similar situation and the university has refused to get a registrar's stamp on the documents. They claim that attestation officer's stamp is acceptable at WES.
