I requested for my uni transcripts last year and my uni gave them to me in a sealed and stamped envelope.

Question: Can I still use them for my supporting documents for this March even though it was dated last year?

TQ

Thanks for Question:

Mughal thanks for the reply but the link you provided is not relevant to my question as my transcripts are NOT laminated. The fact is that my transcripts were dated last year in August 2008 and I fear that the visa office may not accept it, because I plan to send it to them this March.

TQ

It is okay that yours is dated August 2008, but does it also mean that yours is not in a university sealed envelope because you can see the date.

Mine was dated couple of years ago (not that i have my PR now but i am not worried about it being declined on date of transcript) and i had many university sealed transcripts so I sent one of them.

Hi Rupeshari

Yes, it is in a university sealed envelope. The university office showed the documents to me beforehand, that is how I know the date is August 2008. They sealed and stamped it in front of me, before I could leave the office- their procedures.

I guess, I will just send. Too much hassle to go back and forth.

Will keep you posted.

Then the date won't matter. Mine are dated from the 90s i think lol.

generally they are stamped by the university.

From Appendix A instructions:

• College or university documents: certification of completion and the
graduation degree, diploma, or certificate issued by the college or university and
the evaluation committee;
• Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university sealed envelopes

If they are in uni seald envelop (That is main requirement) then date is not a big issue.....you can use the same transcripts....

Good luck for your application!

Best Regards,
