I am the employer of a home support worker, who has completed his 6 months full time work experience and is currently waiting for his PR application which is being processed. Due to unforeseen personal circumstances (on my part) I have had to suspend his ongoing employment at this point in time. So he is "unemployed" at this time. My question is would this affect IRCC's decision in granting him his PR? My understanding is once he has completed 6 months of full time employment he qualifies for his PR. I am wondering if IRCC has "additional requirements" etc? He has significant savings, and is still residing in my home free of charge. Could someone possibly give me some feedback on this? thanks so much in advance.
